Traditional “Blood Diamonds” are extracted out of strip mines using heavy equipment which requires high consumption of energy and fuel. The use of explosives, deforestation, and water pollution creates extremely damaging detrimental impacts to the surrounding ecosystem that are often irreversible. Our “Love Diamonds” are produced in a lab and leaves the planet the way Mother Earth intended it, while also leaving your wrist and neck on froze.

The Conflict diamond definition is a “Rough diamond in an area controlled by insurgent forces whose sale is used to finance anti-government military action.” The BIG problem is that this current definition does not include the humanitarian impact or the negative environmental consequences of traditional diamond mining. This means that the diamonds mined in Zimbabwe for example, a country notorious for killing, raping and maiming hundreds of artisanal miners are still considered “conflict-free” under the KPCS and are marketed as “clean”. Our gemstones are referred to as “Love Diamonds” because they are sustainably created in a lab and our love for bling now gives back to the communities it originally had destroyed.
